2. How Americans Feel About Religious Groups

Benjamin Freedman's 1961 - Warns America About The Jews

Respondents to a Pew survey gave Judaism the "warmest, most positive" rating on a scale of 1 to 100

Jews are viewed most positively by Americans among the major religious groups, according to a survey released Wednesday.

The Pew survey asked participants to rate their attitude toward different religious groups on a “feeling thermometer” on a scale of 0 to 100 with 100 being the “warmest, most positive” rating. The 3,217 respondents rated Jews, Catholics and Evangelical Christians scores of 63, 62, and 61, respectively.

On the other end of the spectrum, Muslims were rated least favorably, with a score of 40. Atheists were rated a step higher with a score of 41. Buddhists, Hindus and Mormons were in the middle, with ratings of 53, 50 and 48, respectively.

Unsurprisingly, groups were rated highest by their own members, with Catholics receiving an average rating of 80 from Americans who describe themselves as Catholic, for instance.

Jews and Atheists tend to have negative feelings towards Evangelicals, even though Evangelicals rated Jews highly.

Americans aged over 65 gave Christian groups and Jews higher ratings than younger Americans gave them. Older Americans viewed Muslims negatively, while younger Americans had a more neutral view towards Muslims.

Americans had much warmer feelings toward a religious group when they knew someone who identified with that group. Muslims got a neutral rating (49 on average) from respondents who said they personally knew a Muslim, much higher than the 35 rating from Americans who did not know a Muslim.

A Muslim Analysis To the Above Study - Dr. Adel Elsaie

When I started looking into this article, I expected the Muslims popularity to be around 10%. Thank God, I was wrong!! It is unexpected 40%!! This can be due to:

They came in contact with Muslims (neighbors, co-worker, friends, etc) and exchange important issues.

The number of converts to Islam in the west is constantly increasing. Famous converts, Priests, Rabbis, and missionaries have definitely major effects on non-Muslims. Their stories are published on the Internet and YouTube.com. If you search Google and YouTube for “converts to Islam”, you will find about 2,880,000 results and about 247,000 results respectively.

Many people on earth find it “uncomfortable” to read and think. Or at least talk to other people about important subjects, like religions, and politics. Therefore, they get their information from the Media (TV and Newspapers).

Many Christians don’t even read their Bible carefully. They take the words of Priests or Pastors for granted.

This 40% number is in spite of:

"Today, seven Jewish Americans run the vast majority of US television networks, the printed press, the Hollywood movie industry, the book publishing industry, and the recording industry. Most of these industries are bundled into huge media conglomerates run by the following seven individuals:

Gerald Levin, CEO and Director of AOL Time Warner

Michael Eisner, Chairman and CEO of the Walt Disney Company

Edgar Bronfman, Sr., Chairman of Seagram Company Ltd

Edgar Bronfman, Jr, President and CEO of Seagram Company Ltd and head of Universal Studios

Sumner Redstone, Chairman and CEO of Viacom, Inc

Dennis Dammerman, Vice Chairman of General Electric

Peter Chernin, President and Co-COO of News Corporation Limited

Those seven Jewish men collectively control ABC, NBC, CBS, the Turner Broadcasting System, CNN, MTV, Universal Studios, MCA Records, Geffen Records, DGC Records, GRP Records, Rising Tide Records, Curb/Universal Records, and Interscope Records.

Most of the larger independent newspapers are owned by Jewish interests as well. An example is media mogul is Samuel I. "Si" Newhouse, who owns two dozen daily newspapers from Staten Island to Oregon, plus the Sunday supplement Parade; the Conde Nast collection of magazines, including Vogue, The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Allure, GQ, and Self; the publishing firms of Random House, Knopf, Crown, and Ballantine, among other imprints; and cable franchises with over one million subscribers."

I could add that Michael Eisner could depart Disney tomorrow but the company will remain in the hands of Shamrock Holdings, whose principal office is now located in Israel".
