1. Invitation to Volunteer - Video Islamic Youth Awakening (Sahwah) Campaign
Can you imagine the great rewards from Allah if you make Global Islamic Youth Awakening as your life objective? You can you be one of the vanguards that lead this mission. Please speak out now and commit to the noble responsibility of Global Islamic Youth Awakening.
The Muslim Ummah is experiencing a blessed awakening in all aspects of its affair, one that has been aroused by Muslim Youth.
Out from the desert, in the middle of nowhere, came a generation that brought light to this earth and dominated the two major superpowers at that time: the Romans and Persians. Their light lasted about thirteen centuries, and Inshaa Allah until the end of this world. This first generation Muslim youth was the truly remarkable engine of Ummat Muhammad (saw). Here are few names of Muslim youth pioneers of the first generation:
Ali ibn Abi Talib was 10 years old when he became Muslim.
Talhah ibn Ubaydullah was 14 years old when he became Muslim
Abdullah ibn Abbas, born Muslim, was 15 when Prophet died.
Said ibn Zayd was 15 years old when he became Muslim
AlZobier ibn Alawam was 15 years old when he became Muslim
Abdullah ibn Masud was 16 years old when he became Muslim
Sad ibn Abi Waqqas was 17 years old when he became Muslim
Omar Ibn AlKhattab was 26 years old when he became Muslim.
Then Abdul Malik bin Umar ibn AbdulAzir, the great young Muslim who was "watching" all actions of his father Umar Bin AbdelAziz, The Fifth Rightly Guided Caliph.
One the other hand, great young Muslim Girls such as Fatimah AlZahraa, youngest daughter of the Prophet and Asma’ bint Abu Bakr, the lady of the two girdles had a special position among the early Muslims.
All young Muslims of the first generation had their ultimate teacher in Muhammad SAW. Their history is available in many history books. Each one of them is just like a high tower of light to illuminate the present situation of our Ummah.
Islamic Youth Awakening campaign is a weekly email that inspires Muslims to achieve excellence in life. Our purpose is to serve Allah (God) in the best way possible through the principles laid out in the Holy Quran and Sunnah (the authentic traditions and examples of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him).
We all have the honor of belonging to Ummat Muhammad, and we are all very busy, but can we all agree on one goal: Support global Islamic Youth Awakening, for the sake of Allah.
Dr. Yusuf Kavakci, a well respected Islamic scholar once said: “A good Muslim is a good human being”
